How We Can Support You

Support to people with Disabilities in South Kerry

School Leaver Programme

The SKDP, School Leaver programme is a community-led initiative that endeavours to promote, facilitate and support social inclusion, education needs development and well-being of school leavers who are interested in working locally on farms, in community projects and with local employers. It offers full-time support services for young people who are referred through Kerry HSE Disability Team. The SKDP, School leaver Programme is based on the HSE personal centred New Directions policy. Person-centred planning puts the individual at the heart of the Service.
