New dates for Chainsaw, Livestock Handling and Tractor Driving safety training.
South Kerry Development Partnership (SKDP) has organised further training dates as part of our Farm Safety Initiative. The initiative is funded by the Department of Agriculture Food and the Marine, and the training is provided by FRS Training. Our Farm Safety courses are always popular and well attended.
A one-day training course for 14-16 year olds on Safe Tractor Driving Awareness & Basic First Aid will be held on various dates at Marts across Kerry.
Safe Livestock Handling is another one-day course for 14-16 year olds. This training will be completed on local farms in Kenmare, Killarney, Cahersiveen and Killorglin.
The Chainsaw course is a two-day course that will be held in Cahersiveen, Killorglin and Killarney.
